Ernest Gimson Walking Trail

Ernest Gimson was an architect as well as a designer, he built some houses near the centre of Leicester and some out in the Charnwood Forest in Leicestershire.

These two walking trails include Gimson's houses as well as other buildings and location closely associated with him. Both walks were expertly written by Rowan Roenisch and photographed by Kerem Cetindamar.

The walks can be downloaded here as a PDF or are available to buy as a full colour leaflet from the Leicester Museum and Arts Service shops at New Walk Museum.

Please note that destinations 1 and 2 on Walk 1 are only accessible by car or bus as they are several miles outside of the city centre.
