Oak wardrobes 116.1974
Pair of wardrobes
Designed by Ernest Gimson and made in his Daneway workshop.

Oak with lines of gouged decoration and brass handles
Each 180 x 68 x 53cm
The very simple four-square outline and stark uprights which form the legs is softened by the curved top and bottom and the shaped rails.

These wardrobes were designed to go either side of a tall chest of drawers.
This piece was originally owned by Harry Peach.

Presented by the Pick family in memory of Sidney Pick in 1974
